Updates of Umakant Singh's story:
Hi, I’m Umakant!
My name is Umakant Singh and I’m a farmer in the village of Chaudharipur in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh in northern India. Chaudharipur is situated on the banks of our holy river, the Ganges, and has a humid subtropical climate. That’s ideal for growing my crops of chili, tomato and garlic. I’ve always been interested in new technologies and that’s why I joined the Better Life Farming program.
